So, Matt and I have very few movies left to try and see before the Academy Awards at the end of the month. Winter's Bone was available for rent on Netflix and so rent it I did. We got about an hour, hour and a half in, were both seriously liking it. And suddenly ... the disc won't play. We tried everything, even skipping ahead 3 chapters. Nothing.
Looks like some Netflix patron ahead of us decided to burn the edge of the disc with flames or damage it in some other way that I couldn't figure out. There's two raised tiny brown spots that cannot be removed.
So, instead of bringing you a review of another Oscar nominated film, I'm bringing you a fail post.
